A site update that speaks to historic origins, the present and the future…
Hotchkiss Library of Sharon wanted a website that remained true to the library’s traditional brand while introducing elements that advanced the website’s technological capabilities and was easy for staff to update. In Touch Solutions partnered with Artizon Digital to create a website that speaks to the library’s history, present, and future. Of course, we made it staff friendly too!
The home page design features a contemporary “card” layout that organizes information for quick access and textured backgrounds that reflect the historic library building. The cards can be easily updated and even “shuffled” on the page to highlight current events.
Donna put her experience with non-profit organizations to work to create a comprehensive site plan included special pages designed to speak more directly with members and donors including a giving page. There are many “paid” solutions for accepting donations; however, none of them was a perfect fit. So, we developed a custom form for the giving page that addressed the library’s specific needs for donations.
